Best SteelSeries Black Friday deals: PS5, Xbox and PC headsets

Technology

We’ve seen a few discounted headsets so far this Black Friday, but SteelSeries have outdone everyone with a sale on basically their entire lineup – including perfect headsets for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC. These are the best prices we’ve seen on these headsets since last Black Friday, and therefore we don’t expect them to be repeated any time soon!

We’ve gone through each sale item and tried to find it cheaper elsewhere, and if we spotted a better deal than SteelSeries is offering we’ve linked to that instead – you’ll see a couple of examples from Amazon and Currys, for example. If we missed any, do let us know in the comments and we’ll update accordingly! For the deals, you’ll need to sign up for an account on their store to access the deals, but this is free and only takes a few seconds.

We’ve also rounded up the SteelSeries keyboards, mice and mouse pads in the sale too. These are great choices for PC gaming, including our #2 highest-rated mechanical keyboard in two sizes and several mice that have earned a Digital Foundry recommendation.

Here are quick links to each category, in case you’re just interested in one item:

Best Black Friday deals on SteelSeries headsets

The standout headset deal is £75 for the Arctis 1 Wireless for Xbox, which – despite the name – actually works wirelessly on PlayStation 5, Series X, Series S, Nintendo Switch, PCs and USB-C smartphones. For a more premium headset that works wirelessly on both PS5 and Series X, check out the Arctis 7X.

The Arctis 7 is another great choice, offering improved comfort and excellent sound quality on PlayStation and PC at a discounted price. Another good PS5, PS4 and PC choice is the Arctis Pro + GameDAC, a phenomenal wired headset that comes with a convenient control pod.

The Apex Pro and Apex Pro TKL are among our favourite mechanical keyboards for gaming, thanks to their stylish look, OLED screen, volume controls and novel optical mechanical switches. The latter allow you to set the point at which each key is registered, so you can make the keyboard sensitive for gaming and less sensitive for typing, basically giving you two keyboards in one. If you don’t need this feature, the Apex 7 and Apex 7 TKL are a more affordable alternative with all other benefits of the Apex Pro design. We haven’t seen any significant discounts on these keyboards all year, so do snap them up if you want to upgrade your keyboard!

Apex Pro – £160 at SteelSeries (was £200)
Apex Pro TKL – £150 at SteelSeries (was £190)
Apex 7 Red Switch – £140 at SteelSeries (was £180)
Apex 7 TKL Red Switch – £120 at SteelSeries (was £150)

Best Black Friday deals on SteelSeries mice

I used the Rival 600 mouse for years before swapping to a lighter design, and it remains one of my all-time favourites. The Rival 710 has a cool OLED screen, the Sensei 310 and Rival 310 are excellent value mice in ergonomic and ambidextrous designs, respectively, while the Sensei Ten is a classic mouse shape reborn with modern internals – to great effect. All solid options, especially at these prices!

Rival 600 – £50 at SteelSeries (was £80)
Rival 710 – £70 at SteelSeries (was £100)
Sensei 310 – £35 at SteelSeries (was £60)
Rival 310 – £35 at SteelSeries (was £60)
Sensei Ten – £50 at SteelSeries (Was £70)

Best Black Friday deals on SteelSeries mouse pads

The Qck is one of the best-selling mouse pads in the world, so it’s great to see several desk pad size variants available at a lower price than usual. The Prism models come with integrated RGB lighting, but I prefer the standard QcK 4XL listed right at the bottom for its simpler design and lower price.

Qck Prism Cloth 3XL – £70 at SteelSeries (was £100)
Qck Prism Cloth 4XL – £75 at SteelSeries (was £110)
Qck Prism Cloth 5XL – £100 at SteelSeries (was £150)
Qck 4XL – £45 at SteelSeries (was £65)
